Flights & Transportation
From Australia:
Fly from Sydney to Manila. We suggest you stay in Manila for a night or two. Unfortunately the Manila airport is a bit tricky to navigate if you’re moving from one terminal to another and waiting for hours for another flight.
Suggested airlines: Qantas, Philippine Airlines, and Cebu Pacific.
From Manila:
Fly from Manila to Coron (Busuanga). Once you arrive in Coron, a van from Discovery Coron will pick you up and take you to the dedicated port where you will be picked up by the Discovery Coron boat, making your way to the resort.
Please make sure you share with Discovery Coron via marie.altea@discovery.com.ph your flight number and the time you arrive so they can coordinate the van and boat pick ups.
There is an environmental fee when you arrive in Coron, you do not need to pay this, as this is already covered in what you paid for in Discovery Coron. Just show your confirmation email from Discovery Coron if they ask you to pay.
Suggested airlines: Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.
Book your flights as early as possible to avoid expensive rates.
Accommodation
Club Paradise
We have rooms blocked off in the resort with a discounted price for our wedding guests.
When you’ve selected your preferred room, please add your details in the Rooming List from Discovery Coron. When you’re ready to make the payment, kindly email marie.altea@discovery.com.ph and copy our wedding planner, Amanda Tirol at amandatirol@yahoo.com. A dedicated payment link will be sent to you.
Please ensure you have reserved your rooms by August 2024.
By September 2024, we will be releasing all the rooms that have not been reserved, which means that they will then be open to the public to book. If you choose to book after September 2024, it will then be subject to room availability.
NOTE: Unfortunately, as Discovery Coron is in it’s own private island separate to mainland Coron, only guests who are booked in at the resort are able to attend the wedding. You will not be able to access the island resort otherwise if you are booked in elsewhere. We are aware of the financial pressure this might cause, so we completely understand if you are unable to make it to the wedding because of this.
Meals and Amenities
EAT & DRINK
Daily buffet breakfast is included in your accommodation, complimentary refreshments and welcome treats in the room upon arrival, complimentary pass-around treats at the poolside daily, and daily Filipino snack delivered to your room.
We have also covered your dinners for the rest of your stay.
Lunch meals are to be at your own expense. There are food and drinks options at the resort restaurant and at the bar.
Note: Prices may change at the resort’s discretion.
PLAY & LEISURE
Other accommodation inclusions include complimentary use of pool and gym, a welcome foot massage for all guests in the room, as well as use of water activities i.e. snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayak.
The resort has an onsite spa with services you can avail at your own expense.
EXPLORE
Coron, Palawan is a beautiful island in the Philippines with clear turquoise waters and fantastic diving and snorkeling views. At Club Paradise, you can snorkel just at the beachfront and you’ll be treated to schools of fishes and turtles! Hiring of the snorkeling gear is already included in your accommodation. There is also a small walk up to a view overlooking the whole resort.
Scuba diving and island hopping activities are also available in Club Paradise, however, they are quite pricey so we recommend you extend your stay in Coron by moving to the town proper once you’ve checked out. Island hopping is definitely cheaper there, as well as food and accommodation.
